Spice up your shaslick with this winning combination: capsicum, halloumi and our authentic Chorizo sausage – traditionally wood smoked and flavoured with mild paprika and spices. Simple yet delicious.


  • 1 packet Skara Smoked Chorizo Sausage

  • 1 Green capsicum

  • 250g Halloumi Cheese

  • Wooden skewers

  • Prep time: 10 Minutes
  • Cooking time: 15 Minutes
  • Serves: 4


  1. Soak wooden skewers in cold water for half an hour to prevent burning.
  2. Slice chorizo into 1.5 cm thick slices and cut capsicum and halloumi cheese into cubes.
  3. Thread chorizo, then halloumi, then capsicum and repeat, leaving space at each end of skewer.
  4. Fry off in fry pan, turning for even colour, or place in grill for 15 minutes and turn accordingly. Serve immediately.
