Valentines Grazing Board

Instead of going out for Valentines Day, why not treat the special person in your life to our Valentines grazing board. Charcuterie flowers and a raspberry heart triple cream presented on a heart shaped board is the perfect way to say “I love you!”

Ingredients

  • 100g Skara Smallgoods Hungarian Salami

  • 100g Skara Smallgoods Mediterranean Prosciutto

  • 125g mini triple cream brie

  • 1 tablespoon raspberry jam

  • 6 strawberries

  • ¼ cup blueberries

  • 60g green grapes

  • 4 cherries

  • 4 caper berries

  • ¼ cup mixed roasted nuts

  • 50g chocolate

  • 6 Parmesan bites

  • ¼ cup fruit and nut mix

  • ¼ cup mixed olives

  • Prep time: 20 minutes
  • Serves: 2

Method

  1. For the salami rosette, use a small glass with a 4-5cm diameter, the smaller the better. Drape salami slices around the edge overlapping each one, to create the petals. Repeat process until all salami slices have been used. Turn glass upside down onto platter and gently release the salami rosette.
  2. For the prosciutto, fold each slice back on itself and group together to form a pompom type flower. Place onto platter.
  3. Using a small heart shaped cookie cutter, gently press into the centre of the triple cream brie about 1cm deep. Using a sharp knife carefully remove the skin of the cheese inside the heart. Fill heart with raspberry jam and place cheese onto platter.
  4. To serve, surround charcuterie and cheese with a selection of fillers like strawberries, blueberries, grapes, cherries, caper berries, mixed roasted nuts, chocolate, parmesan bites, fruit and nut mix and olives.
