The classic chilli and prawn pasta is elevated to new heights with the addition of Skara’s Croatian Pepperoni. The depth of flavour infused through this dish from the combination of wood smoke, garlic, paprika and chilli will make this pasta a new family favourite.

Product substitutes: Chorizo 1 sausage, Chorizo Salami 100gm, Pork & Fennel Salami 100gm, Roasted Bacon 100gm, Dry Cured Bacon 100gm or Pancetta 100gm


  • 2 tablespoons olive oil

  • 2 cloves garlic, sliced

  • 500g green prawns

  • 200gm pack Skara Croatian Pepperoni, thinly sliced

  • 2 x 400g tins cherry tomatoes

  • ¼ cup parsley, chopped

  • 500g linguine

  • Toasted garlic breadcrumbs:

  • 2 tablespoons olive oil

  • 2 cloves garlic, finely chopped

  • 1 cup fresh breadcrumbs

  • 2 teaspoons lemon zest

  • Salt flakes and freshly ground black pepper

  • Prep time: 10 Minutes
  • Cooking time: 15 minutes
  • Serves: 4-6


  1. For the toasted breadcrumbs, heat olive oil in a non-stick frying pan over a medium heat. Add garlic and cook for 1 minute before adding breadcrumbs. Cook for 3-4 minutes or until breadcrumbs become golden and crispy, stirring constantly. Remove from heat, add lemon zest, salt and pepper, tossing to combine. Set aside until required.
  2. Heat olive oil in a large non-stick saute pan over a medium heat. Add garlic, prawns and pepperoni, tossing to combine. Cook for 3-4 minutes or until prawns are opaque.
  3. Add tomatoes, cook for 5-10 minutes or until cherry tomatoes collapse, sauce reduces and thickens.
  4. Meanwhile, cook pasta following pack instructions. Drain.
  5. To serve, add pasta to sauce and gently toss to combine. Divide pasta between bowls and sprinkle over toasted breadcrumbs.
