Pear & Pancetta Pita Pizzas With Camembert

Salty, sweet and savoury! This combination of pizza toppings is a little fancy & are a match made in heaven! Rich in flavour, Skara’s delicious Flat Pancetta recipe is made with hand cured belly bacon and originates from Croatia.

Ingredients

  • 4 mini pita bread (or mini pizza bases)

  • 1 tbsp olive oil

  • ½ pear, thinly sliced

  • ½ small wheel camembert cheese, thinly sliced

  • 1 packet Skara Wood Smoked Flat Pancetta

  • 1-2 tbsp fresh rosemary, roughly chopped

  • Prep time: 5 Minutes
  • Cooking time: 10 Minutes
  • Serves: Makes 4 Mini Pizzas

Method

  1. Preheat oven to 180˚C.
  2. Place pita on lined baking trays and brush with olive oil. Top with pear, cheese, pancetta pieces and rosemary.
  3. Bake for 10-15 minutes until pancetta is cooked and crispy.
  4. Serve immediately.
